Puneet Sidhu

Hi there! My name is Puneet Sidhu. I am a registered psychologist (#5325) with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).

If you're seeking a compassionate, non-judgmental, and thoughtful therapist, I'm here for you. With over 10 years of experience, I've worked in hospitals, community mental health with Alberta Health Services, and private practice. Your journey towards well-being begins here. Let's navigate it together.

My approach revolves around building strong working relationships with my clients. I am dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment where individuals feel empowered to express themselves without the fear of judgment or rejection.

I work with children and youth ages 8+, and I have extensive experience working with Indigenous youth and children in care, gained through many years of involvement with Alberta Health Services (AHS). Additionally, I specialize in Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) cases, helping individuals navigate the emotional and psychological challenges following traumatic incidents, and WCB claims.

I'm deeply committed to supporting adults, couples, and youth as they navigate various challenges, including anxiety, depression, bullying, harassment, low self-esteem, trauma (including physical and sexual assault), work stress, and relationship struggles. I also specialize in working with paramedics, firefighters and healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses.

Embarking on a journey of self-discovery and healing takes courage. If you're navigating challenges and seeking understanding, I invite you to reach out. In a confidential and supportive space, we can explore your unique path toward well-being together.

I offer services in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.

Ghata Shrotriya

Hi! My name is Ghata Shrotriya. I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist (#P8615) with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).

Seeking therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you have been strong for everyone else. I strive to create a space where you don’t have to explain your cultural values, family dynamics, or the weight of expectations before being understood. As a South Asian Immigrant, I bring a culturally attuned, compassionate lens to the therapy room, honouring both your individual story and the communities that shape you.

I believe healing happens in safe relationships. Together, we create a non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns at your own pace without shame, pressure, or dismissal.

I work with adults and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, identity concerns, intergenerational and cultural conflicts, relationship challenges, trauma, selfesteem struggles, and life transitions. I have a particular interest in supporting highachieving professionals, early-career clinicians, and individuals balancing cultural expectations with personal authenticity.

My therapeutic style integrates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and trauma-informed care, while always centring the human connection. Therapy with me is reflective, thoughtful, and practical, offering both insight and concrete tools you can carry into your daily life.

My Approach
I view mental health through a holistic lens. Family systems, culture, migration stories, community, and personal resilience shape emotional well-being. I tailor each treatment plan to your unique goals and values, ensuring that therapy feels aligned with who you are.

My Commitment
I am committed to creating a therapeutic environment that feels steady, culturally sensitive, and deeply respectful. You deserve a space where your emotions are valid, your struggles are acknowledged, and your strengths are recognized.

My Vision
My vision is to support individuals in breaking cycles that no longer serve them: gently, courageously, and intentionally. I aim to help you build emotional clarity, self-trust, and resilience so you can move through life with greater confidence and balance.

Reaching out for support is not weakness...it is COURAGE!! If you’re ready to begin, I would be honoured to walk alongside you.

Anureet Gill

Hi! My name is Anureet Gill. I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist (#P8792) with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).

Many people I work with find it difficult to be at peace and to live full, meaningful life—let alone a successful, enjoyable life. This is often because they feel overwhelmed by painful emotions, nightmares, memories, and thoughts, or because they feel alone and stuck in unwanted emotions such as anger, fear, sadness, shame, or guilt.

Often, they have been let down by others and carry lingering feelings of hurt and resentment. They may be hard on themselves—judging, criticizing, and expecting rejection. They tell themselves things like, “I’m not good enough,” “I’m not lovable,” “my life is all wrong,” “it’s not supposed to be like this,” or “where do I go from here?” Sometimes, they even come to hate themselves and what their life has become.

Many have tried to “push it down” or “walk it off,” only to find that the unpleasant feelings continue to follow them. Some, new to therapy, worry that therapy won’t help—or might even make things worse. Others come to me with hope and expectations that a new approach will help issues lingering after years of therapy. Most clients who I work with are thankful and surprised at the relief they achieve after a few sessions.

My clinical experience includes working in a trauma clinic, an immigration clinic, a long-term care home, and private practice. I provide psychotherapy services to individuals experiencing anxiety, adjustment difficulties, depression, grief and loss, interpersonal challenges, life transitions, stress management concerns, and trauma.
In my practice, I strive to create a warm and safe space grounded in unconditional positive regard and authenticity while keeping confidentiality. I aim to understand and meet each person’s unique needs. I am collaborative in that I respect the boundaries and wishes of my clients and bring a wealth of knowledge about effective therapeutic approaches. I use an integrative approach drawing from ART, cognitive-behavioral therapy, cognitive-processing therapy, emotion-focused therapy, EMDR, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy to best fit the person in front of me.
I am passionate about working with adults, young adults, and older adolescents (ages 16+).
I offer sessions in English and Punjabi and bring a cultural humility perspective considering power and privilege.
Outside of work, I am often found sipping chai while reading a good book, watching a classic Bollywood movie, or scrolling through social media.
